Earth Invaders

Destroy the alien ships before they reach Earth!
Move the mouse cursor to aim, left-click to shoot.
(That's right-click for left-handed folk.)
To pause, press Esc.

Remember to purchase upgrades whenever possible. They definitely help, and there's no reason to hog your points unless you're a minimalist.

I beat it. Got all upgrades. Got repetitive, but out of curiosity, I saw how long I could go. High score: 2,261.

It kicked me off.

Heh, the game is a bit glitched, but congratz on the high score! Seriously, bravo.

Neat game. I actually found this through your FantasyJam site. I came to GL, found the button link to go to FJ, and found a link to this game on the Games section. Round trip!

I think you should remake this game. Call it a sequel or Earth Invaders 2 for all I care! Just make a new version, because this version is a little slow-paced and boring.

Call me Kaze if you like.

This is very good for programming it and all. Plus I always love a game that supports upgrades. Makes me feel like I'm making great progress!

Do you remember all of the little flash games we had on Syboard? They all had a connected high score system where it displayed it on the website, for others to beat. Maybe we could have something like that?

Syboard used a system that was already made to work with its forum software. Also, it wasn't very secure. On the other hand, I could create something similar, but it would take too much work. I would rather spend my time working on other things.
